THE PRODUCERS
San Francisco-based producer, lyricist & DJ Brycon is an audio Swiss Army knife with 25+ years of experience in the arts. Instilled with a deep and soulful musical sensibility by his Motown-born mother and folk-singing father, his natural instinct for melody and composition are evident throughout his works.
Maitre D is a Producer/DJ based in Northern California's Bay Area. His production style spans various genres, including flavors of Hip-Hop, R&B, and House, all with a unique blend of samples, synths, and live instrumentation.
The Outkast and Cymande loving duo have previously collaborated on projects such as Equipto & Brycon present The Watershed , Xiomara - Sevennineteen, Maitre D - Rain (Remixed), and There's No More Room In Hell Part 7. The next release on their shared schedule is Brycon - Totally! Unnecessary! White Guy Dub! featuring Maitre D & Mykal Rose, available everywhere July 7, 2025.
The 2 song release includes an extended remix version of “Rosa Parks (Bra Edit)” - now featuring an additional verse from Big Boi and a lengthier outro for maximum dance floor impact, and the original version of “Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (The Message Edit).”
